Meet the Maker
Chabi Chic started 5 years ago by two women, who wanted to protect Moroccan culture, preserve traditional artisan techniques and secure sustainable income and good working conditions for the artisans.
They currently work with 18 artisans who work both from heir workshops and their homes.
Chabi Chic is part of the UN programme, Marrakech Cultural and Creative Industries. Through this, artisans are able to improve their skills and access markets. Each purchase empowers these artisans and their families.
